Plymouth Trip

On Saturday we decided that we needed to get out of the city and explore the area, so we decided to visit Plymouth, which is about an hour south of Boston. It was a beautiful day; however, extremely windy once we were near the water. We saw the main historical sites, got some lunch, and walked around the old town. It was fun to see what they call "America's hometown."

The famous Plymouth Rock!

Cold and windy, but we are happy to be near the water.

An old cemetery - some Mayflower pilgrims are buried here.

A huge monument build for our forefathers. The largest solid granite monument in the U.S.
