February buds at the park
We've had such a mild winter, nothing like last year, that it has been so lovely (mostly 40-50 degree weather). This weekend was one of those beautiful sunny weekends that was full of fun activities, while also accomplishing some necessary items.
I absolutely love living in the city and this weekend has been so nice that it made me love it even more. Excuse me while a brag for a minute, but we had probably one of the best meals ever at Gaslight, to celebrate Stuart's birthday. Now my new favorite restaurant.
We also had a lovely walk down the street to our favorite local coffee shop for some delicious tea and scones. Then crossed the street to the local toy store... Charlotte's favorite and spoiled her with a new toy shark. Then walked in the new hipster pickle store and got some yummy pickles (we can pickle that) and finished our outing by playing at the park by our house. I still can't believe that we have been to the park several times this month...in February!
It's been one of those nice and relaxing weekends with some work mixed in. It made me appreciate our area and these beautiful sunny days.
