The Mount

It was a beautiful Fall day in New England as we visited The Mount in the Berkshires on Monday. I went with my mom and sister Trisha. The Mount was built and owned by the author Edith Wharton (think back to American Lit books, such as Ethan Frome and The House of Mirth). It is a beautiful home located in Lenox, MA that is still being restored...but has beautiful grounds and over looks a lake. The Berkshires were a little past their peak, but still beautiful nonetheless.
