Party Hat

I meant to post this picture with the last entry. We put Maddie down a month ago because her health was failing and she seemed to be getting worse. It was incredibly difficult saying goodbye - she's been a good friend to us all these past 13 years and a member of the Hiers clan. We buried her on the island - near the lane - that way we can take walks to visit her and put flowers on her grave.
